Know any budding writers, ages 6 to 12? If so, they may be interested in this murder-mystery scavenger hunt happening Sunday, November 3. To celebrate the publication of Dial M for Morna, I’ll be leading a murder-mystery writing workshop and scavenger hunt. (That’s right; it’s both!)
Here’s how it will work: I’ll present the group with the premise for a site-specific mystery. (That site being the Lillian Smith Library on College Street in Toronto.) You writers will then search the gothic archways of the library basement for clues. Based on what we find as a group, we’ll “crack the case” by composing a conclusion to the story. And our friends at Mabel’s Fables will have copies of Dial M for Morna available for purchase at the event.
But space to this workshop is limited, so sign up early, at Small Print Toronto.
